I had a terrible experience with RC Landscaping. After being referred by a friend, I reached out and we agreed on a flower bed project. He came out, sprayed Roundup, marked up the lawn, and scheduled a start date. It seemed promising at first.

Then it took a turn.

After asking a simple question about pricing especially since I had received lower quotes he became defensive and abruptly canceled the job. I never disrespected him or changed my expectations. I only asked questions any reasonable customer would before committing. Rather than handle it professionally, he walked off the job and left the yard a mess.

He killed the grass where the beds were supposed to go and never came back to clean it up. I’ve posted pictures here showing the respectful tone I kept throughout our conversation and the dead patches he left behind.

He also falsely accused me of trying to use his “drawing” with another contractor, which is completely untrue. I never once asked to reuse his plans or design.

If you’re looking for someone who’s professional, consistent, and actually finishes what they start I strongly recommend going with someone else. This experience was frustrating, disappointing, and a waste of time.

Rogelio did a fantastic job with our backyard. He is great with communication, shows up and gets the job done on time. He worked with us to make things work within our budget. He listened to our plan and made suggestions that would work best.

Rogelio is a joy to work and an expert on landscape transformations, don’t hesitate to reach out to him.
We had a 50x70 ft backyard of grass that he helped transform into a beautiful garden. We collaborated on a design that met our goals while providing long-lasting and lower-maintenance results.
Rogelio did all of our new planting beds, crushed granite paths, flagstone paths and seating areas with a bench, a variety of trellis frames for roses and other plants, and raised beds for vegetables and herbs.
He brought excellent selection of materials from large boulders to rocks to make easier access in side yards.
He added selected trees to provide shade, color, and fruit.
His landscape lighting came out beautiful even integrated into the stone bench and highlighting some trees as well.
He added drip irrigation zones to our system to reduce maintenance and increase the health of plants.
He provides recommendations and help when you ask, but if you have a vision and a selection, he will humbly implement your requests.
We are not done with our yard yet.

We LOVE our new front landscaping from RC Landscape!!! Rogelio was kind, patient and a great listener. We are new homeowners so he truly explained everything to us and was very transparent about exactly what he was going to do. The team was on time and finished our project ahead of schedule. He truly made what I dreamed a reality. He added huge rocks for the edging around our flower beds, in the exact color and shape we requested.
