Fern Ridge Eco-Landscapes

We worked with Sean James to design a complete makeover of our long and narrow East York backyard, and he recommended that we speark to Marcus at Fern Ridge Eco Landscapes to execute the plan. From our first meeting we were impressed by Marcus's passion and enthusiasm for his work. We were equally impressed by his exceptionally friendly and hard working crew. Our backyard presented major logistic challenges, not least of which was the difficulty of access to bring in the materials, yet Marcus and his small but mighty team solved them all. The work was done on time, on budget, and in a refreshingly open and collaborative manner from start to finish. My wife and I noticed Fern Ridge working in the neighborhood. I had called the number on the truck and spoke with Marcus. He made time to come visit our property that same day and we were able to begin working out what we wanted to have done. He took the time to listen to our wants/needs and was able to focus on what we were telling him while giving insight and advice that was appreciated but he never tried to push us into making any decisions we weren't comfortable with. When the start date for our project came, his team arrived with a good number of workers for the job and though weather a few days before starting made for a challenging excavation they did it thoroughly and made extra effort to insure it was done correctly. Throughout the jobs timeline Marcus made sure to be on site each day so we had a consistent point of reference for the work being done. We were more then impressed with the final product and even now, weeks after the job being completed Marcus is following up with us to insure that we are happy and the quality of the work is hoping up to his standards. We will absolutely be using Fern Ridge Landscaping for our future projects.

Fern Ridge did a great job executing my landscape and garden design. They followed the plan well and made positive suggestions. They were neat, quick, provided quality work and did a great job cleaning up. I won't hesitate to use them again on future projects.

Marcus and his team provided a wonderful design we will be using to transform our property over the next several years. The attention to detail when installing our new fire pit area next to our living retaining wall has given us confidence in their workmanship.
