KG Landscape Management

We've hired the KG team for multiple landscaping projects for our home. They initially came as a recommendation from a neighbor, which is always a nice introduction. They most recently fixed some yard repair damage (from another contractor) and did landscape planting. Kent spent a good deal of time explaining the options presented, and working with us to make tweaks. They team was able to get the project completed before the grounds froze. Kent stopped out to make sure the project was going as expected, and as things were ahead of schedule, they had another employee make a special delivery of some of the plants to complete it in one day. Additionally, Kent went above and beyond to coordinate the packaging, delivery and placement of a custom engraved boulder. We are very pleased with the work they've done for us, and plan to have them back this spring to complete more projects for us.

We hired KG Landscape Management to diagnose issues and redesign our outdoor drainage system, and we could not be more impressed. Russell did a fantastic job estimating what would be required — and he was right on point. There were no surprise costs, even as the team uncovered challenges and needed to adjust the original plan. The crew was professional, thorough, and clearly takes pride in their work. They went above and beyond throughout the project and still finished on time, despite the necessary modifications. As a family new to Minnesota, we had no established contacts or referrals in this space — so trust mattered greatly. After this experience, we can say with confidence that we absolutely trust Russell and the entire KG team. Excellent work from start to finish. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic experience working with Kent and the team at KG Landscape Management! They helped us install a dry well, French drain, and regrade our yard to address water retention around our foundation. From start to finish, Kent was professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. The crew worked efficiently, kept the area clean, and made sure every detail was done right. We’ve already noticed a big improvement after recent rains. Highly recommend KG Landscape Management for anyone looking for reliable and skilled drainage or landscaping work!

We have used KG Landscaping for 2 large projects. Shortly after moving in to our new home, we discovered we had a significant drainage issue in our backyard that was leading to our detached garage flooding with any heavy rain or snow melt. KG landscaping came out and provided a plan to correct the drainage issue as well as make our small backyard more private, functional and aesthetically pleasing (see before and after photos). KG landscaping completed the project in a timely fashion and Kent provided great communication throughout. We have not had any further drainage issues since (4+ years). We were so happy with the work KG Landscaping did on the first project, we hired them again to update our landscaping along the driveway so that it matched with the beautiful work they did in the backyard. Again, this project was completed quickly and without issue. We have also used KG Landscaping yard services (spring clean-up, mulching, fertilizing, etc) for the past few years and our yard looks great. We would highly recommend KG Landscaping for any of your outdoor home needs.

When we moved in to our house a couple years ago we loved the home and location, but knew the backyard needed a lot of work to function as we wanted. After a lot of research into landscape design & builders, we had our backyard paver patio and landscaping designed and installed by Kent and his crew. They were fantastic and we are very happy with the outcome! Kent was very responsive starting with the design process and all the way through construction, finishing even ahead of schedule. He was very receptive to our feedback and did a great job of designing around our wishlist, the constraints of the space, and working to meet our budget line by line. My wife and I knew some of the big things we wanted, but no idea what the details should look like. He really brought it all to life by showing us various options and working to revise until we had a final design that we were very excited about. The crew was extremely efficient, hard working, and conscientious. They clearly took pride in their work and the quality of the installations was top notch. I am particularly satisfied with the job they did on the grading of the entire backyard - we had some big concerns about drainage and they addressed them all. With the speed and quality of this project, we are looking forward to spending most of our summer enjoying our new backyard!
