Recent reviews highlight consistent communication from the owner during design and build phases and crews that arrive on time and work efficiently. Homeowners frequently mention quality hardscaping, with patios, stairs, and retaining walls called out. Several note friendly, professional teams and clean sites. One review raised concerns about follow-up on lawn restoration, suggesting expectations should be clarified for post-project touch-ups.
Huckleberry Landscape just finished a large project at my home in Upper Miller Creek and my wife and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Jake was great to deal with from the initial contact and was wonderful at coming up with ideas to complement our backyard vision. His crew was a joy to have around, too! They were timely, hardworking, great at checking in when they had questions, and really appeared to love their work. The stairs, retaining walls, and repairs to previous work were great. We will definitely have them back for the front yard work in the near future.
Jake and his team did an amazing job replacing our back patio. They worked efficiently and did a beautiful job renewing the look of our outdoor space. Jake had great communication through the process with updates and questions as they came up. He was really easy to work with and reliable. Would highly recommend Huckleberry Landscape and Property Services!
Jake did a great job on my front yard. His whole team showed up and removed my entire old front yard in two days and hauled off most of it. The rest of the dirt they made mounds and did a xeriscape so I didn’t have to mow anymore. Thank you!
Jake and the entire crew with Huckleberry were first rate. They were extremely engaged with the work and the project details - infusing the entire job with enthusiasm and artistic flare. They were very professional, hard working and friendly throughout. We are very pleased with the final result and will have them back next spring for some follow-up planting. Highly recommend Jake and crew! :)
Last summer, Huckleberry did a good sized hard-scaping project for us that turned out great. If that’s where the relationship had ended I could have given them 4+ stars. (photo) I see they are using several photos from our place on their website. But this spring, when it was time to replace the sod that was trashed by their equipment and by the traffic of other contractors going in and out of our back yard, they really let us down. Even though we had this project on their books since fall of 2023, it took until early June to get on their schedule for some dirt, some grading and sod. When they arrived with the replacement sod it was very brown and stinky and much of it was dead. (photo) Had I been home I would have rejected it. A month later they came back to replace all dead sod, but they didn’t bring enough sod and only replaced part of it-- putting grass seed in some areas (despite the fact that we were paying for sod). Here we are in August. Some areas are still dead in big square patterns. Huckleberry told us we weren’t sprinkling properly. No reply from Jake when I reached out before posting this.Sorry Huckleberry, you burned this bridge.UPDATEHuckleberry came by to see the problem. They brought a big crew and replaced all the dead sod and /or seeded all the dead spots. My lesson, don’t settle for dead sod in the first place.
