He was super friendly when he arrived to our house, and kindly answered some other questions we had regarding our yard. He provides a detailed quote and final invoice which includes the information to pay via etransfer. He came recommended to us, and we will in turn recommend him to others.

“Fairytale Landscaping turned my Reno disaster into a dream front porch.” I recently hired Fairytale Landscaping to repair and rebuild my front porch after a major Reno disaster, and I couldn’t be more grateful for their work. About eight years ago, another company, based in Victoria, installed my cement patio and front entry stairs. Unfortunately, their work failed badly—within a few years the concrete cracked, the slab sank about six inches, and the stair literally dropped away from the entry. When I reached out to this company for help, they told me they no longer service Nanaimo, leaving me stranded with an unsafe, crumbling front porch. That’s when Fairytale Landscaping came to the rescue. From the very beginning, the owner took the time to carefully assess the situation and explain what needed to be done to make the area structurally sound and safe again. Once demolition began, we discovered the original job hadn’t been built to code at all—styrofoam used under the stairs, missing rebar, soil instead of proper road base, and no compaction. To make matters worse, the sinking slab had caused dry rot to the house itself, which also needed repair. Although this was devastating to discover (after spending thousands on the first job), Fairytale handled everything with professionalism, skill, and care. They rebuilt the porch correctly, repaired the underlying damage, and transformed the front of my home into a space that is not only safe and solid but also beautiful. I truly felt taken care of throughout the process—the team was hardworking, efficient, and detail-oriented, and I always knew I was in good hands. I finally have the front porch I hoped for from the start, and I absolutely love it. Two absolute powerhouses came by, as punctually as could be, and transformed two overgrown back yards, and a massive front area in less than a day.
