Winter snow service feedback is mixed: many note thorough work, while some cite incomplete clearing in certain areas. Overall sentiment trends positive with attention to follow-up when requested.
The crews that worked on our snow removal were excellent. They have been very thorough and thoughtful of our needs.....even shoveled in front of our mailbox...Can't beat that.
Pioneer landscapes was quick and responsive. We called and they came and met with us and quoted us the same day. Lex and her team were able to help my mom get her yard back in order within a week of our inquiry. We highly recommend them if you’re looking for quality work.
I’ve used Pioneer since moving to Florence 6 years ago. They’re consistent, on time, and do good work. Always willing to come back and make it perfect if need be. If you can, ask to work with Lex, they’re very knowledgeable and responsive and make it so easy to do business with them. Highly recommend.
From Pump Track to Peaceful Tranquility! The vision Pioneer Landscapes had of transforming our backyard was beyond our expectations and imagination!! The sad-looking yard became a sanctuary, complete with patio and firepit, enjoyed in the mornings with coffee and hummingbirds and in the evenings with family and friends. THANK YOU, Pioneer Landscapes for creating the most amazing, beautiful yard!
So my partner, Hazel, left a negative review for this snow removal service because they did a very sub-par job, failing to clear any snow from our front step, and leaving large amounts of snow next to and behind our cars. I could barely get my car over the mound that was left, and she could not get hers over without removing the snow on her own. For the large amount of money that was paid, we were expecting ALL snow to be cleared (from behind the cars, from the front step, etc.) so that we would have a clear path to our cars.Yesterday, a truck drove all the way down our driveway, took a few pictures of our property without knocking or asking permission, and then drove off. Hazel and I were both confused by this, but we found out later why -- according to the owner's response to Hazel's review, he came to photograph our property without permission. To make matters worse, he left a reply to her review, essentially calling her a liar in the process. This is after she had to spend 30 minutes shoveling herself out after paying them good money!I've attached photos, so you can see that they clearly did not remove the snow behind our cars (something our usual plow service always does -- they even clean off our cars), and that Hazel was telling the truth. It's bad enough when you hire someone and they don't do a good job. It's even worse when they send someone to photograph your property without permission and then falsely disparage you as a liar.If you look at the owner's replies to negative reviews, you will notice a consistent theme -- he spends far more time lashing out at unsatisfied customers and waging strange social media campaigns to his handful of followers than it would take to simply fix things and make the customer happy. This may explain why they appear to be the lowest-rated landscaping service in Western Mass according to Google, Angie's List, and Yelp.Think about it -- why would the owner of a company take the time to drive all the way to our house and photograph on our property without our permission, but not take the time to knock on the door and talk to us about making things right? Then again, our front door IS hard to access, due to all of the snow and ice that wasn't removed.
