Do not use for landscaping services. Work done was done was not consistent with the plan. Work crews were not knowledgeable about what was supposed to be done. Major errors in workmanship provided, including damaging existing plants.
I stopped by yesterday with a diagram of a perennial garden I want to establish, which I've been struggling with because it's part sun, part dappled shade, and part shady. Barb was available to help me, and it was a real pleasure to work with her. She was very knowledgeable, and able to suggest a variety of plants. I never felt that she was in a hurry, and she took time to answer my questions. As well, she was cheerful, pleasant, and clearly passionate about gardening.I've shopped at Sargent's on 2nd, as well, and both locations offer a wide variety of plants that are healthy, beautiful, and reasonably priced. Staff are always pleasant and helpful!
Andrew and Deivy were very hard workers, friendly and got that big arborvitae down in no time. They dug the trunk and roots out with their shovels! Great work, planted a new tree and cleaned everything up afterwards.
I’ve always had good experiences at Sargent. A bit hard on my pocketbook- but what isn’t these days, honestly. I’m always amazed at the inventory and their knowledge.Love the Tuesday night music /food and sprits. It just makes my summer.Staff is kind and helpful. I have had them offer to take my item and load for me more than once. I truly appreciate it as a weak, lady.I do however wish they would get the marsh marigolds again. Mine were eaten by bunnies 2 yrs ago and I miss them.
Nick was very helpful in our fire pit landscaping project. He gave us direction with our special request of doing crushed red granite. They delivered the materials right on time at a reasonable rate. I think it turned out great! Wish I would have taken better before pictures.
