I very, very rarely care enough to take time to write negative reviews. And I understand that most folks are doing their best, are honest, and deserve grace. But my experience with Sprout Landscape was so bad that I have to write this.TL;DR: I hired Sprout Landscape to do maintenance yard work and found them very overpriced, the work to be substandard mow-and-blow, and the company's communication to be very poor. There are several other local companies and crews that do careful and honest work for a less.Details:Since management has responded here, I'll break this down in greater detail.Over the course of several months, Sprout's crew, which I hired to do more than mow-and-blow, would show up and do poor job at even basic mow-and-blow. They would repeatedly ignore my request to do a basic trim of my shrubs. They would ignore weeds that were 6 feet tall unless I would go out side and ask them to remove them.I was often not home when they came, so I rarely had the opportunity to observe their work. Then one day I was home, and I watched them do a quick perfunctory blow of my front yard then depart after just 7-10 mins of work. For this Sprout wanted to charge me $98.When I sent an email, they sent the crew back. The crew still didn't do a great job at just mow-and-blow, let alone anything else.Sprout then sent an email apologizing that their work wasn't up my "my standards" instead of stating clearly they expect their crews to stay longer than 10 minutes at a job site and do the basic work they have been hired to do. When I talked to them--calmly and respectfully--on the phone, they were weirdly defensive, instead of simply agreeing that their crew did a bad job.There are many great, honest, and affordable crews in Savannah who care about their work and value strong communication with their customers.
I had the absolutely best experience with Sprout! Eric is extremely kind, helpful & communicates with you to arrange what you need. When I went to pick items up Eric & Trevor were both ready and so helpful! I honestly can't recommend them enough! Great work, great products, fantastic customer service! A local gem!
Sprout has been amazing to work with. Our yard was previously a dirt/rock pit. Sprout developed a custom layout, working with our preferences throughout the process and then installed it quickly and efficiently. They transformed our yard into a place that we love to spend time in and are proud of. They are excellent communicators and ensured throughout the process that we were satisfied. We have used them since for maintenance and plan to stay with them for all future needs.
From professional landscape design to expert installation to proficient regular maintenance, Sprout always exceeds our expectations! The owner, office manager and maintenance crew are all professional, responsive, dedicated and friendly. We have been getting our house ready to sell and needed some planting and mulching done quickly. Sprout was so accommodating and flexible. The owner himself came after business hours and on Saturday with a couple members of his staff to complete the work. We highly recommend this exceptional company!
I have a monthly service agreement with Sprout for my garden. I am very pleased with their work. They are always reliable and do an excellent job of weeding, trimming and overall plant care.Most recently, they arrived just a few days after the snow storm to clean up and remove and replace all plants that were destroyed from the cold.I am extremely impressed with their overall care of my garden.
