We had a yard that was overgrown and needed some tender love and affection. Working with Joel from Fix My Yard was a pleasure he makes sure the costumers vision and requests are met. After he finished our yard it looked 10 times better highly recommend his services for any landscaping needs. ??
Joel from fix my yard did a wonderful job designing and building two gardens in my backyard I wanted low maintenance and he chose the perfect plants I can’t wait until next spring to see the garden in full bloom Thank you Joel
Joel, the owner, is not the average landscaper. He brings a level of percision and expertise that is superior than anything I have ever dealt with. What is also rather impressive is his level of exterior design knowledge that will harmonize his plans with the rest of the house. I can't wait continue working with him and his family. Thanks very muchUpdate: He called to check on the quality of his work ! This reminds me of the days when people cared about their customers and their work. One does not really see much of this kind of follow up and care any more. Thanks again.
I had a pleasure working with Joel from Fix My Yard and his co-workers on the project of rebuilding my fence that was blow away by the storm in mid December last year. Back then, a week before Christmas, Joel was one of the few contractors that responded to my quote request and, which is most important for me, he was the only one to spare an hour or two for an on-site visit before delivering an estimate that is not based just on a linear foot but on the real assessment of the conditions on the ground. The other contractors I contacted were booking for more than a month from Joel’s initial on-site visit. As part of the estimate process, I was educated about some of the reasons that contributed to early rotting of the posts which made them unable to withstand strong winds and how to prevent that with the new fence. Joel spent time not just inspecting the blown away sections of the fence but an assessment of the state for all the remaining posts and all that was provided with documentation and diagrams for the state of the site and the proposed steps how to address the issues. While initially I was leaning toward some quick fix and just patching of the blown away sections of the fence, I did not feel any pressure for an up sale and doing anything beyond I thought is necessary. But then, when I analyzed the provided information, I realized that my tendency to save now will be just liability since there were sections that were also loose and will probably be falling with the next storm. Therefore, I requested detailed quote for rebuild of the whole section and Joel was responsive by providing me with several options. I like the fact that he was listening to my concerns and things that were important to me.During the implementation I was not able to visit the site every day, but Joel kept me constantly updated about the progress and if there were any concerns. He was also handling the communication and coordination of his activities with my neighbor since there was a shared portion of the fence. With his team, they were diligently applying personal safety procedures and kept the site tidy after each working day. Since he understood that the stability and reliability are my main concern, they also went extra mile by ensuring that the new fence posts were buried four feet deep and had extra wide concrete bedding. I appreciate the attention to details, especially when mounting the fence rails that were additionally reinforced with metal brackets and the extra time and effort to blend in the fence and make them as invisible as possible. Then all the extra effort to address the bottom line of the fence with the uneven terrain and tree roots. We had open communication before each step in the implementation, so I had chance to choose the actual handles and the locking mechanism and its positioning on the custom-made double gate for which he dedicated extra time to achieve the best curb appeal look possible by following the style of the fixed portion of the fence.I am very happy with the outcome, and I would warmly recommend Fix My Yard for all landscaping to all the homeowners who appreciate the personal approach and dedication.
Extremely satisfied with the results. Takes the time to do the job right with meticulous attention to detail. Looking forward to having Joel and his team back for a couple of other projects.
