After a wood retention wall collapsed in my backyard, I contacted Shamrock’s Nursery and Landscaping for an estimate. The land has a steep and uneven grade, so I knew the rebuild wouldn’t be simple. From the outset, their team understood the complexity of the project and proposed a practical solution that exceeded my expectations. They built a new stone wall that blends seamlessly with the existing structures, both in design and material. Just as important, they installed proper drainage—an essential step given the slope and potential for runoff.

What impressed me most, though, was the consistent professionalism. Kody Ashley, my main point of contact, was a true standout: responsive, knowledgeable, and attentive at every stage. His team reflected that same professionalism—working efficiently, respecting my property, and delivering real craftsmanship in the final product. Even minor weather delays were communicated clearly and handled with flexibility and care.

I’m thrilled with the results. Shamrock’s didn’t just repair a wall—they enhanced the entire space. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and have already begun planning my next project with them.

Kody and his crew worked hard, even in the unexpectedly high temperatures this spring. They were polite, professional, and respectful of our property. It was truly a pleasure working with Kody and his crew. They were prompt, professional, dependable, and incredibly hardworking. I discovered this place in Tallahassee back in early March and I can’t brag about them enough! I originally was looking for some new foundational shrubs to fill in along my house that I recently purchased and have been back 10 times since. The staff is friendly and helpful in recommending good options for what you’re looking for. They grow all of the plants themselves so they transplant into the yard beautifully (since they’re used to these conditions). I cant leave there without grabbing something. The prices for the quality is unmatched!

I had a previous experience with Shamrock which was positive. This project was much larger and while having difficulty finding a responsive landscaping contractor, Shamrock's price was still better. This was good because Shamrock is conscientious, thoughtful and treats your project like it was there own property. Kevin and Cody achieve beauty while keeping ease of maintenance in mind. I now have a great yard that was affordable and requires minimal effort.
