Historically, I’ve always been skeptical and hesitant when it comes to hiring contractors for home projects. I’m tired of the sales pitches, upselling, and contractors who don’t listen to their customers. Especially with a large backyard project, I spent the last 2–3 years researching, interviewing contractors, and collecting bids before making a decision.

From my very first interaction with Jose (Owner), both over the phone and during the initial site visit, I immediately got a positive vibe from the company. For the first time in a long time, I felt like I found an honest, receptive, and professional contractor who truly listened to my vision.
After our first meeting, I uploaded a drawing of the backyard design I had envisioned. Shortly thereafter, Jose sent me an estimate, and after making a few adjustments, we scheduled the project start date.
Jose, his foreman Jose “Jr”, and the crew arrived on time as promised — not just the first day, but every single day until the project was completed. Throughout the process, both Jose and Jr. were professional, pleasant, and extremely accommodating.
Whenever unforeseen issues came up, they communicated immediately through group text messages, phone calls, and even FaceTime to discuss solutions in real time. That level of communication and transparency was incredibly reassuring and helped keep the project moving smoothly with minimal interruptions.
As with any large project, changes and adjustments happen along the way. On several occasions, I requested modifications, and Jr. was always receptive, patient, and accommodating. One of the most stressful parts of the project for me was selecting the right plants and trees, and their guidance and recommendations throughout that process were extremely helpful.
Unequivocally, I am beyond happy with how my backyard turned out.
After the project was completed, Jose personally came by for a final walkthrough to ensure everything met expectations. That attention to detail and pride in their work truly stood out.
Vivid Landscaping was punctual, professional, communicative, and genuinely cared about delivering quality work. It’s rare to find a company that combines craftsmanship with honesty and customer service the way they do.
Hands down, I will refer Vivid Landscaping to my friends and family, and I would absolutely hire them again for future projects.

The Vivid Landscape team poured a 300-square-foot, 6-inch slab next to my garage for storing my boat. I think the quote said it would be reinforced with rebar every 24 inches, but as shown in the photos, it was more like every 16 inches (even better). The result was totally professional. I highly recommend them.

We were looking for landscapers to help us put in artificial grass, pebbles around our trees and plant some native low maintenance bushes. Not only did vivid landscape deliver, they gave good advice throughout, like adding a privacy hedge from our neighbors, and advice on which bushes would work best for what we were looking for. They cleaned up the whole backyard from weeds and vines as well, giving the yard a fresh, clean look! They were generally on time and came when they said they would, which was more than I can say for competitors when we were trying to get a quote. They were also very easy to reach on the phone with any questions. Finally, when we had a plumbing issue soon after the project, Jose went above and beyond to help us trouble shoot, even though it wasn't related to our project. Do yourself a favor and hire their team!
