Working with Heather was such a delight. She shared our vision from the outset. Her hard work and vast knowledge/skill brought that vision to life. We could not be happier with the result, and with the service.

We also had a ton of fun working with Heather. She's very pleasant and friendly. Also hilarious. She laughed at all my ridiculous jokes, which a bonus.

Overall, we had a really fun time and positive experience working with Heather. Not to mention an outstanding result! Our yard is exactly what we have always wanted it to be!

I have had the pleasure of working with Heather. She helped design my gardens in the front and backyard and is very thorough. Who would have known gardening would come with so many options and things to consider? Her plans are professionally and artistically prepared and she does her research and is very knowledgeable on what’s best for the plants and earth (supporting the longevity of both.)

Landscaping services can be costly, but Heather gave me peace of mind and assurance that what I paid for also included an intangible service: that things would be professionally done by someone who is accountable. Heather offered ways for me to keep things in budget and never came back asking for more money, which I completely respected and appreciated. We engaged Heather for a Garden consultation and an additional hour of consultation. She was great.

For the Garden consultation she went through the whole property with us. We discussed the challenges we were having (i.e. some plants just not growing well in one space) and she made good suggestions as to what we could do to (move the garden out from the house - the overhang is limiting the water to the plants). She also identified some invasive species and provided us with guidance as to how to remove them and start to control their spread. She included a detailed document with information on both of the invasive species we have, which was very helpful in understanding them better. She also provided me with information on a number of different supporting systems for the environment such as resources for birds, insect hotels and water for wildlife.

For our consultation, we are still working out what we want to do with the property, and with her help we have been able to identify next steps for our planning, and some decisions that we need to make before we move forward with some bigger plans. Again, she was great, took time to listen to us, and to help us work through our questions.

Heather (Plantwise) did an amazing garden consultation for me. She provided not only a detailed follow up pdf for both my back and front yard but also a planting plan with drawings, plant list and care guide. I had no changes to my plan because she listened and gave me exactly what I wanted. I am excited to start planting in the spring. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Plantwise to anyone who is looking to learn how to have a beautiful native garden.

We discovered Heather with Plan(t) Wise after we had already redone our landscaping multiple times ourselves and were never happy with it, and then hired a different designer and wasn't happy with it... If only we had met Heather sooner, we could have saved ourselves so much time, energy and money. It's immediately clear how extensive Heather's knowledge and experience are. She's so much more in-depth and thorough in her plans. There's nobody else I'd recommend for garden and landscape design, Heather is truly the best.
