What customers say
Several customers found key copying quick and easy. One customer described walking straight up to the machine and making keys. Copy failures were also reported: one customer said none of four copies worked, while another reported that the upgraded Texas keys did not work in the front door.

Have you ever waited 30 mins at Home Depot until you give up. I just walked right up to the Minute Key machine and made my keys. And now thats all Ill use to make my keys. Thank you Minute Keys

I tried to make copies of two front door keys the dead bolt worked fine with the standard key option. The front door key not so much. I chose and paid for the upgraded Texas keys. They do not work in my front door at all. So I still only have a original front door key after paying for the other copies.

Once you sand off the burrs, the key works great

Made four copies of a key and none of the four worked. Hope my refund goes better than the key making process.
Catherine Porter
The keys worked well. Good quality keys. The only 2 complaints I have with this experience is that the dollar bill acceptor would not accept money. So I felt if I wanted a key I had to use a card and I didn't want to use a card. To get my receipt I had to give an email. That didn't set well with me either. I would not use this again unless it was an absolute necessity.
