Smart Locksmith

Beware! Unless you want to pay exorbitant prices and be treated rudely by the call staff, steer clear of this outfit. When I called to complain about the price, I was told the owner would call me back. That never happened. I’m not one to leave negative reviews, but this company certainly warrants it. Btw, check out their response to EVERY negative review. Tells you all you need to know.

BEWARE of bait and switch tactics! I called Smart Locksmith and made an appointment to have a locksmith come to my house and install a deadbolt (to include drilling a hole in the door) and to have a lock rekeyed to match other locks. I was quoted $85 as an estimate for the installation of the deadbolt. When the locksmith came to my house he told me the deadbolt install would be $275! I called the office and asked them what happened and I was told the person I spoke with yesterday, Michelle, only gave me an estimate. I had a simple wood door and required nothing special so I didn’t understand how the estimate got to a price that was more than 3 times higher than what was quoted! Today, Nicky in the office told me what I was given yesterday was an estimate and if the locksmith on site said it was $275 then it would be $275. I sent the locksmith away and apologized for wasting his time because the office made a mistake. This is crazy and looked to me like a bait and switch scam! BEWARE!

If you or anyone you know needs help with unlocking your doors, please call Roy of Smart Locksmith!!! He’s very very professional, courteous, genuine, supportive, and will get the job done beyond your expectations! I misplaced my keys and needed urgent help! He was there in less than 20 min to my surprise!!! It was a holiday but he still drove up to help me out; and it was a cold rainy day! He’s very very reasonable in pricing, the least offer I got after calling several other places who insisted that I had to pay some minimum amount regardless of whether the job would be done or not! Roy, thanks for your kindness and excellent customer service! You go out of your way to help your clients putting their needs at the top of your priorities! Because of this great and awesome customer service, your business and company will grow bigger and greater! Thanks again Roy, Smart Locksmiths!!! You’re the best and really know what world-class satisfactory customer service is!!!

Highly recommend this company. We lost the keys to our Van. Roy understood our urgency, arrived on time and created keys for the door lock and ignition at the price quoted over the phone. They both worked perfectly. Excellent service!!!

Roy just completed a job at my house replacing the three door locks. He did an outstanding and professional job. First he arrived on time. Second the pricing was a very reasonable and very competitive with others. He made sure that the alignment on the doors are aligned properly. I have some other job to do and I will certainly use him in the future. I would recommend Roy.
