I had a high security safe I needed to get open and Brian worked with me back and forth and even contacted the manufacturer and got what was needed until I was able to open the safe. Not many companies or employees, like Brian will go that extra mile to do what was needed to help a random customer that calls in for help. Brian is such an asset to your company, you need to do whatever it takes to keep him and give him kudos because he deserves it! I went to their business not expecting to find the lock part for a 70 year old mortise lock that I needed, and the guy (maybe the manager or owner) who met me at the door, took the part and said, “give me a minute.” After a few minutes he returned with a small plastic bag with the exact same part and said you’re in luck today. When I asked him what I owed him, he responded, why don’t you bring some donuts by for my staff one day. I grew up in a small town in NC and people did this sort of thing routinely but this is a rare human behavior here in the big city. I graciously thanked him and installed the part later that day. This morning I decided to return the favor and I delivered a couple of dozen donuts to his office. This is how decent people behave on occasion to restore our faith in mankind. It’s not always about the money. Thank you You’re an Officer and a Gentleman, as the military expression goes.
