I struggled a lot to get a copy of my key, visited several places in more than one county and here I was able to get what I neededThey also offer other services to replace several kind of keys and if they don’t have it at the moment they can mail it to you .
Used the machine plenty of times and none have failed. It’s asking for another review….. 10/23/23This is my millionth time using the machine. Still as great as the first time!
I had 2 doors rekeyed each with a deadbolt and a lock on the doorknob. The locksmith charged me $755! That is about twice what I expected to pay. Last time I had the same locks replaced by a different provider it cost $309. I will never use KeyMe again. I didn't have any problems with the process or the locksmith but the price is a rip off.
Went to this 7/11 location to copy a key but because it's not a standard key, they had to mail it to me. Received the key in 5 days and it didn't fit. I called the customer service and they were able to refund me without any issues. Granted they didn't copy the key correctly, I still appreciate the hassle-free refund process.
After going to two 24hr locksmith stores, both of which annoyingly were shut, I decided to use the KeyMe kiosk at 7-11. Had avoided it because thought it was a hassle but turns out to be super easy. And with the buy 2, get 1 free offer, even cheaper than the locksmiths. It offers lots of stuff like car keys, access cards etc but I only got normal keys done so can only speak to them. Tested them and they work fine. The machine actually had an error with the third key and so refunded my the *free* key part of the price. Not very nice. Dumb machine. I would have given them 2 stars for that but it provided a telephone number to call and the guy answered straight away. Was super helpful, refunded me the price of a key (so I got 2 for 1 rather than 3 for 2) and gave me a promo code for the next use. Stuff happens but they handled it superbly so 5 stars again. Sorry local locksmiths, you had your chance - from now on, keys are happening at the kiosk for me.
