He’s always been super fast, and the cheapest guy around! I recommend him to any and everyone!
Thank you to Brian for coming by and fixing my key so I’m able to drive my vehicle. Highly recommend! Second time using their services and I will continue too!
I highly recommend Brian and Marty at Buncombe Lock & Key. Of the six locksmiths I called (including the Ford dealer), they were the only ones to answer the phone, giving me the information I needed to get my key fob replaced and coded. They were quick and they're price came in at a fraction of the Ford dealer's cost. They were also very polite and friendly.
I had an amazing experience with Marty, became within a reasonable amount of time, very down to earth knowledgeable man who was equipped with top of the line gadgets. I needed a new key for my 2015 pickup, i had picked up a key from the dealership and wanted him to program it... come to find out the dealership cut me the wrong key!! Marty was able to make a new key right on site, cut to fit, and was able to open my doors, hook his little machine up to my truck and program it right then!! He even said the dealerships in Asheville call him to do all there keys because they dont like messing with it lol. Couldn't believe it, dealerships are never reliable and it shocked me that he was able to do everything for me. He even made me an extra key for my doors just in case so needless to say these guys are great and really helped me out. Thanks again so much!!!
I had an amazing experience with Buncombe Lock & Key. THIS is the company you want to work with. Brian and his team went out of their way to make me a satisfied client and their biggest cheerleader. However, there were ups and downs, follow along on this adventure:“It’s not how we make mistakes, but how we correct them that defines us.” ~ UnknownI was down to my last key for my car and needed spares. I'm getting nervous about losing my only key because Lowe's, Ace, etc couldn't cut this key, so I start a search for a local locksmith that could handle this apparently unique key. The first 3 companies I reached out to were either a national corporate run-around, or wouldn't call me back. I know this is a small project, and I just wanted to talk to a real person - I texted Buncombe Lock & Key (through google) after hours without much hope for success. To my surprise, I get an immediate response from the owner, Brian. He finds out what I'll need, special orders the blanks, and we make a plan for me to stop by his shop for copies. Here's where things go sideways - first there was a difficult time getting their machine to cut the key. Then while trying the copy on my door, the actuator inside the door breaks, so after waiting an hour, I walk out to my car and find my door panel is off and they're working on the inside of the car itself. This caught me off guard and I was frustrated and impatient and let Brian know this was not going well. Brian was patient and understanding - he listened to me and then explained the issue and how he could fix it.Brian let me know he would order the new part needed and fix the car. Even so, I came to get a key copied and now I'm driving away in a car with no working outside driver's handle, no working windows, and if accidently locked - could not be opened. Just a slight hope that when the new part came I would get some resolution.Over the next 3 days, Brian stayed in touch, confirmed the order & shipping, and scheduled a trip to my house to fix the car. Brian and Dane showed up on time, and quickly installed a new actuator and lock mechanism, and got my car buttoned up and functional - at no cost to me. I have a new lock, new keys, and a real appreciation for a business owner who is accountable, and does what they say they're going to do.Buncombe Lock & Key is my ONLY call for any lock and key needs. They should be first on your list too.
