Citadel Lock & Security Company

If you are in need of a locksmith, I highly recommend Citadel Lock & Security in Oswego, IL. They are very friendly and extremely helpful. I had a very old Medeco lock that I needed some new keys cut. After some failed attempts due to the age of the lock, they were able to re-key it and modernize it at no additional cost. They are great people to work with.

As a business owner and resident of Oswego, having a professional locksmith locally with integrity and knowledge is awesome! We had an emergency lock-out situation and they made arrangements to accommodate us within 45 minutes. They arrived, looked at the issue and within 45 minutes we were in! Knowledge and skills matter! I can't say enough about Citadel and the owners.

Just bought a new house and had to get the locks changed. Asked around for recommendations on Locksmith and got referred to Citadel. I called and spoke to someone right away. She was friendly, efficient and professional. She arranged same-day service, and Craig was the technician. He was super friendly and educational along with very kind to my dogs. We love our new lock and our new house! Thanks Citadel!

After 8 years, the inside handle on our Schlage entry door lockset broke. Rather than go through the multi-week process to take advantage of their “lifetime replacement warranty”, decided to purchase a replacement lockset. Of course, we wanted to “re-key” the replacement lockset to match the existing locks at our home. This required contacting a locksmith. Fortunately, my Google search introduced me to Citadel, a local business in my hometown of Oswego. Stopped by their business earlier today and Dave, the owner, took maybe a half hour out of his busy schedule to re-key my new lockset to our existing keys for a very reasonable price. While Citadel is 99% commercial business, it is wonderful to cross paths with a local business that will serve residential neighbors. Thanks Dave:-)
