Reviews are mixed. Customers note help with car keys and lockouts, but several mention scheduling issues, delayed communication, and disagreements over pricing or service outcomes. Some feedback points to frustration when quoted details change or when follow-up is needed. Calling ahead to confirm timing and price appears important.

So unprofessional as owner got upset over the dumbest things . All I asked was for a quote and just because I made a mistake of giving him my car year , owner got super upset like if he doesn't make mistakes and made it such a big deal. Owner doesn't know how to accept constructive criticism or feedback even after explaining the bad customer service given to me and his reaction. No wonder he has 4 stars . Do better please, if your the type of person who doesn't know how to speak to people especially in customer service, your in the wrong business

I set up an appointment 12/14 to have my door tumblers and lock actuator changed today, 12/15. I was told it'd cost $180 a door and wrote my info in a book to have it done. Today came, I got no call all morning so I called. Ended up getting a text asking if I needed something, which is cool; but this person said they had no pending orders from me. I explained that I talked to someone the day before, was quoted, wrote my info down, and then got no more reply. I ended up booking somewhere else for less than half the price per door. Just a bummer

Absolute terrible experience my son broke my key into the ignition I called these people because they were charging exactly what I had left in my pocket which was $180 to re-key my Tahoe and get the key out they came out and did exactly that I drove my car home locked it went upstairs then went back downstairs when it was time to get my kids and the key did not unlock the car would not unlock the car and I tried multiple times and multiple ways I called them and they basically told me that they weren't coming out to fix something for free although they are the ones who made me the key and it should work to drive the car and unlock the car! But they said no they would have to charge me another $70 and I have children and have no money spent everything I had to get the key remade they wouldn't even come out and unlock it for me that's all I asked the woman hung up on me so very unprofessional and they are being reported to BBB! I would never recommend this place

I really wanted to believe that the bad reviews were just people getting upset over dumb little things, but I see now that they were were more likely than not, justified.

I called them at 12:30 yesterday, asking for a new key fob with programming and they told me it would be $290 and about 2 hrs because they were finishing a job. Cool! That wasn’t the issue, I’m an understanding person. I get it, things come up and take time to finish.

The issue was them not responding to my text that said “Hello, just wondering how much longer until you arrive” at the 2 hr mark, which I felt like I was just asking a simple question. I got no response for another hour…then I receive a call saying that they do not have my specific key fob, and that he would need to ask another locksmith to see if they have another key fob (by this time 3 hrs have passed since the original 2-hr estimate and I received no direct reply to my text after 3 hrs)

Alright whatever, I was annoyed, but I needed my key, so I try to give them the benefit of the doubt, I get that sometimes certain jobs take longer than expected. I patiently await for his call back, as he said he would call me right back.

After 5 hrs, around 5:30pm, (when I was originally told it would be 2 hrs) I gave up. On their side? No apology for being later than what they told me, no apology for the lack of communication, no apology for their lack of professionalism.

I was not annoyed over the time I waited, I was annoyed over the lack of communication. I have never had a bad experience with a locksmith, until now. If they didn’t have my key, they should’ve just told me they didn’t have it, so I could call other places. I feel like communicating things with potential customers is just basic professionalism, which they obviously lacked.

To anyone looking for a locksmith, I highly, DO NOT recommend these guys simply because they are completely unprofessional. In those 5 hrs, I could’ve had my car key fob made and programmed by another locksmith. A locksmith who WOULD’VE responded, and WOULD’VE gotten my key made. But these guys obviously don’t value other peoples’ time. If I had just been told clearly, I would’ve given a good review, but I couldn’t even get the BARE MINIMUM. Highly dissatisfied.

If i could give this business a negative or just collect votes to have them removed from dealing with customers i would. First off i went here because i was told they are fair priced “mistake”! I took a factory blank key to be duplicated for my Honda Civic and was exact size blank key and they said sure $40 which i thought was kind of a lot considering they don’t carry a business license and had a 17-18 year old running equipment in a van that looked to be some of harbor freights tools from 20 plus years ago. He handed me the old key and new and the key was cut completely different so i tried to insert in door and ignition and it didn’t work. Took key back and instead of trying to fix it or figure out a solution he said sorry. I at that point just wanted my $40 and the blank $40 key was a loss whatever. He said no i cut it no refund and it clearly was not made correctly. I called the owner and he said no refunds and was rude. They are operating with no license and they have no real locksmith experience!!! Cerrajero are thieves!!! and should be handled as such !! pictures attached of garbage service !!!
