I had the pleasure of working with Carolyn from Warren's for a replacement key and FOB, for my mother-in-laws vehicle which is in Bismarck, ND. Although I am based in Georgia, I was really impressed by how seamless Carolyn made this whole process, despite the distance. From start to finish, the team was incredibly professional and responsive. I was able to arrange everything remotely and they kept me updated throughout the process. I was particularly impressed by their ability to handle the service so smoothly, even though I wasn't physically there. I would definitely recommend Warren's Lock and Key. They made this complicated situation easy and stress-free. I couldn't be happier with the service I received.
Unfortunately, I have to say that my experience with this company was unpleasant and unprofessional. At first, everything was fine. I came in to get a simple spare set of keys made for a work vehicle. I dropped the keys off and waited for them to call me when they were done. They called me, I picked up the keys, paid for them, took them back to the work vehicle and they didn’t work. I went back to the office told them what happened. They said they needed the vehicle to make corrections to the key until it worked. No problem. They tell me that they are out of keys and have to wait for a shipment on Friday and they would call me when the new keys were done. They never called me. I called back Monday and the Office woman apologized to me saying that they’re usually more organized and more professional. Then she tell me there’s only one person that works there they can make this key and he’s on vacation for a week….. I said OK, I guess I’ll bring the vehicle the following Monday. I bring the vehicle back that following Monday and leave it there for the entire day from 8 to 5 and finally hear back from them the next day saying that the keys work. I send an employee to pick up the van with the new keys. He calls me to tell me that the key works for one of the doors, but not the rest of them so I called and asked them if they could go out and check and make sure the keys work and that I’m unsatisfied with this process taking two weeks. The whole time I’m talking to the guy on the phone I can hear them snickering and giggling in the background as if they think this is funny. As a fellow business owner in town, I tried to be understanding and the fact that these keys are not normal and would take extra time, however, I think 15+ hours of time and multiple trips on my end should be plenty to make a spare key for a car. I probably wouldn’t have even written a review if the employees were more professional. What happened to customer service?UPDATE:After writing this review the owner called me and apologized and told me they will use this as a learning experience for his employees. I appreciate him calling to do so. It’s not easy to admit a mistake. I believe this company will try to do better in the future.
Huge thank you to Ken and his son for installing this keyless entry lock on my patio door! When I first called Warren's lock Ken said he wants to come over just to see if the lock was even going to work. He didn't charged me anything to over and look everything over thoroughly since keyless entries on patio doors aren't the norm. That alone just made me even more impressed with his business! He was hesitant at first but liked that the lock was well made. He said he would have to make an extension template for it and would be back within a week to install. He made the extension out of wood so it would be sturdier for install on the wood frame. It was flawless along with how well they installed this lock! I can't thank you enough Ken for such a fantastic job and an extremely reasonable price that you charged me. I will absolutely recommend Warren's Lock and Key to anyone!
