Advertising as open only to arrive to a sign saying they're out of the office for the day and to give them a call. I called and their response to drive to a location in a different town was laughable. Don't say you're open if you're not.
I made an appointment with APEX Lock and Key. Not knowing Cary Lock and Key was affiliated, I called them to verify the cost I had been provided was reasonable. Since they were affiliated they knew about my existing appointment and said they were canceling it and would not schedule an appointment with me. I understand their reasoning but it seems to me that they have a way to charge excessive rates and have trying to keep a monopoly on the market.
Juan was sent out from Cary Lock & Key today. He came our our commercial business within an hour of calling on a Monday. He was quick and the prices were reasonable. We would recommend and use them again.
Called today and serviced today. Spencer arrived on time and actually had to wait for me (can't hear doorbell on 3rd floor!). He was extremely polite, courteous, professional and observed the "6-feet" rule we are all currently observing. He changed all our locks within 1.5 hrs, walked me through everything and made sure I was completely satisfied before he left. I would highly recommend Cary Lock and Key to anyone who needs service.
We bought a home in Cary and needed to change the key to something new and then key all locks to that key. John was super easy to work with on scheduling and Juan was great on install. Juan was on time, efficient, and did a great job. I've never needed a locksmith before - but I know that I have a great resource in Cary Lock and Key if ever needed again!
