A wonderful experience with Browns today. The Schlage deadbolt and handset on my front door was acting up. Stewart Brown returned my call the same day and sent out a technician at 9am the next morning. Dirk was the tech and I found him to be warm, likable, and skilled. He listened to me as I explained the problem and crafted a creative solution that avoided purchasing a new lock/latch. Took less than 30 minutes. Very pleased with the service and the solution!

Gina and Hain are about the rudest, most disrespectful, vile, angriest, incompetent, meanest, disgusting, bitter, hateful, and unprofessional people I have ever met in my life. They shouldn’t be anywhere near the public. Absolutely the worst customer service ever. It’s crystal clear they clearly hate their lives, their jobs, and most importantly their customers. The way they talk to people is absolutely abhorrent, RUDE, RUDE, RUDE and flat out disrespectful and completely UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!

Gina and Hain should be in some warehouse or factory far away from the public. They shouldn’t be answering phones or dealing with people. They have zero customer service skills. How many people need to complain about them before you finally do something??

You’re better off going to any other locksmith BUT them. Anyone except browns. By far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had with anyone, EVER.

Clay Vaughan on Browns Lock & Safe

Dropped off a key to be recut friday expected a call back didnt get one no big deal, went back monday to pick up the keys and the guy at the counter was extremely rude and irritable. So bad I asked him to just give me my key back and went to albermarle lock and key 100000000%x better. Dont know why the guy at the front gave such an issue he was visually upset. Bad customer service.

I went in to make a copy of my car key and the gentleman that helped me was very helpful and gave me the pricing. We agreed to the price and then I see him talking to this lady in the back and he comes back says it’s $85 now instead of $75. I ask for reason and he says it’s priced at $85 after he had told me $75…..
So I told him it’s fine and if I could get my key back. As we are walking out a lady working in the back says to never come back.
You guys gave a price and I decide it’s not worth it for me to pay that price. There is no reason to be disrespectful about it. I did not complain, I was simply walking out because I did not personally agree to the price.
To the lady, please learn to be kind and professional. No need to be rude. Thank you

Don Pouliot on Browns Lock & Safe

I bought a used long gun cabinet to resell that did not come with keys for the 4 lockable doors. This made the gun cabinet less valuable and unsafe for use in protecting firearms from unauthorized access. I brought one lock mechanism to the technicians at Brown's and within the hour they made 2 keys that operated all 4 locks.
