They did not speak when I, the customer , came in and greeted them upon entry. He didn't respond to anything I was trying to ask even after I
requested two house keys to be duplicated and explained how far I had to travel to even find a decent place to do it since I live in a very small town with little to no locksmiths available in the area.
He purposely messed up a simple house key when you can clearly see that it is not cut correctly and it is very sloppy work. They do not allow cash refunds so if he messes up, he’s not going to give you a refund even though that should be an option, especially if you know you’re not the best at what you do so of course people will be requesting a refund. It’s a scam when a business specifically says no cash refund. Very strange.

Home Depot and Lowe’s couldn’t cut me a key I bought from Amazon. I just bought my first house and wanted a special key. So I came by here to give it a shot and I was in and out literally within 60 seconds. Great customer service and speedy delivery. Definitely my new go to lock smith. Thank you guys so much!!!

I took two new keys to get cut and programmed for my car. I was immediately told by the Technician that they could not guarantee my keys at all. I totally understood because I did not purchase the keys from them. I told him that was ok and please proceed. After about 30 minutes the Technician tells me that he's having a problem and needs to discuss it with his "Auto Expert". He talks with another Technician about the issues he's experiencing and says he can take over. The new Technician works for a few moments and can't fix the problem. He then tells me that the only way the keys will work, is to change the chip in the key. I say ok, and he proceeds to change the chips. In doing so, he has to take the key fob apart. Here's where the problem comes in... instead of properly taking the key fobs apart, he grabs a sharp pick and starts prying on them and finally gets them apart, breaking the little plastic catch on both keys. He doesn't tell me anything at all about this, he only proceeds to change the chips and program the keys. Gets them all done, I pay and leave. On the way home, the key that is in the ignition, comes apart and falls to the floorboard. I pick it up and place it in the console tray and continue home. Once there, I take a good look at the key and find pick marks and a broken catch tab on the key fob. I immediately check the other key, and it is exactly as the first one... broken as well. It's absolutely obvious that this was caused by poor workmanship. I call back to speak with someone and a lady answers the phone. I tell her about the situation and her immediate reply is that they don't guarantee keys not purchased from them in any way. I told her that I wasn't asking her to guarantee my online purchased keys, I was asking her to guarantee the businesses workmanship. After she tells me again that they don't guarantee keys not purchased from them in any way. I ask to speak to the manager or owner. She takes my name and number and says that her Boss will call me.

As usual, I'm still waiting for him to call !!! DO NOT TAKE ANY WORK TO EASTERN LOCK AND KEY ON BYRON ST. IN CHESAPEAKE !!! THEY DO SHODDY WORK AND DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK !!!

The company I work for has done business with this company for many, many years. This team has always been professional, efficient, and helpful. Most recently, for work purposes, I had to have 20 keys made. I made the stop here only after countless other hardware stores. No one else could cut these specific keys. They have reasonable prices. I recommend these experts for any locksmith needs.
