A minority of reviews report delays and limited follow-up communication during peak periods. Overall ratings skew strongly positive for professionalism and getting customers on their way.
If I could give zero stars, I would.I called Pop-A-Lock after locking my keys in my car, and was told the technician would arrive within 30 minutes. Instead, I was left waiting over 2 hours, with no updates, no courtesy call, and no apology. The technician didn’t even contact me until an hour and forty minutes later. What makes this worse is the complete lack of customer service afterward. I reached out by email multiple times and received no response at all. For a company that advertises reliability and professionalism, this experience was the exact opposite. If you need urgent help, do not rely on Pop-A-Lock. They were dishonest about the wait time, left me stranded for hours, and showed zero accountability. I will never use this company again and I don’t recommend that anyone else does either.
Scooter arrived in a timely manner and was very friendly and professional. He was clear in his communication and very proficient with the work. He had all the tools and knowledge necessary to get me back on the road quickly.
I've never had a problem with pop a lock, until this last came out. And not to mention I was left stranded In The DARK until my insurance company had another service provider to come out and assist me.But this woman had some guy, over the phone, telling her to tell me, that it was my Starter in my Corvette, that I Just paid $600 to get from the shop with a complete maintenance with extensive diagnostic to be sure Every Thing is running proper on her. And they was so argumentative when I told the lady is definitely not the starter.. I just need A Jump. In which is what I called in for. She didn't know how to connect the jumper box to my Corvette, and she Wouldn't Listen to me as The Owner either.I kept trying to explain to she and the guy she had on the phone that I left the mirror lights on and it drained a Brand New $200 battery, and even as she seen the lights and car come on when she used my jumper cables to connect to her own vehicle, but still they jelly trying to insist it was My Starter. So frustrating with the got want even there, but had More Authority. They really need to Re-train on how to use that jumper box if they want her to fill that position
Lynn texted me of her approximate arrival time & was very efficient in charging my battery. Advised to leave running 30 minutes or just take it to a service center.
Lynn came on time and had communication about her ETA along the way. She jumped our car cause my battery died and then gave us tips on where to go for a replacement. Highly recommended and 5 star service.
