Was just walking around downtown this morning and stopped in on a whim to get a copy of my car key. Only $3 and was not here for maybe 2 minutes! Works like a charm. Cozy vibe in there. Will come back for future key and lock needs :)
They can not do new automotive laser cut keys but are great with everything else.
I highly recommend Gem City Key Shop. I have used them several times for my office. Very nice and professional and extremely reasonable prices! Can’t say enough good things about them!!
Avoid. Called to have 3 locks re-keyed. Gem subbed the job out to Expert Locksmith. Re-keying was $125.00 each lock. I was quoted $375.00 plus $29.00 service call, for a total of $404.00. Ended up charging me for replacing 1 door knob and 1 deadbolt ($200.00) and re-keying 1 lock. New door knob and deadbolt were not re-keyed to match. Now I have 2 entry door keys for my house that cost me $634.00. I called both companies to dispute the charge and neither have responded. I guess I will dispute the charge with my credit card company. Anyone know a good locksmith in Dayton, Ohio?
Absolutely awesome! I went to have a blank key fob I purchased off line cut so I could put my “tube” expertise to the test. No one else would cut as they wanted me to buy theirs! Gem City cut to perfection, price amazing! Thank you for not trying to beat the community down with unreasonable prices. You have gained a loyal customer!
