Around 10:30 am yesterday I called Lock Doctor. Went inside and they switched out the guts in my key fob and said it should be already programmed to my vehicle. Got a ride to my vehicle, didn’t start. Called back, said they would charge me 85 for the ride and 75 for the programming. Short and simple. I said okay. They drove maybe 3 minutes down the road, which I was very appreciative of. Although Christine was very friendly and she tried her best, their computer couldn’t find my vehicle. Since they were unable to program my key to my vehicle, i was under the impression I’d only have to pay the $85 dollars for the ride. When I opposed paying 75 for the programming that never got done, the owner was very aggressive and actually had me in tears. told me I was lying, he said that regardless of whether the service is performed I was paying him for his time, he hoped “I wish I could sleep at night,” and threatened to call the Decatur city police on me if I didn’t pay the full amount. All in all I ended up paying $175 for a copy of a key that didn’t end up working, and to get bullied by the owner. I don’t recommend :(
