Reviews

What customers say

Key-copy experiences vary: some customers describe quick service and working keys, while others report copies that did not work properly. One customer warns that calling could lead to repeated calls and texts from multiple locksmiths; another reports being given no firm upfront quote, the horn continuing after unlocking, and being left to sort it out while facing a bill they had not agreed to.

Customer Reviews

Kirsten Torres

The key seems too short. I have to put it in and line it up just right, which can be difficult with a wriggling baby in your arms. And for an $11 key??? Not very happy about it.

Cv19

If you want to get call after call from multiple locksmiths, give these guys a call. If you don't want your phone blowing up with calls and texts, avoid at all cost.

Sergio Simon

Worked flawlessly

Raquel Eyre

I came home and one out of three keys worked. I don’t know how to return them.

Nicole Draughn

The Keys came out very nicely although I did not like to have to pay for the extra payment for the keys to be not so sharp so I just took some sandpaper to them, but other than all that they worked out really great slid right into the keyholes and no problem!

Saeed Sanaallah

The key copy doesn't turn. We had the same problem for a different key copy.

Michael Johnson

Quick, easy, and convenient at my local Kroger store.

Zack Bruggeman

Easy, quick, and key worked just fine (copied house key). Been years since I copied a key so $12 seemed high to me, but I might just be out of touch a bit. Overall good experience.

Danielle Dick

Fast, easy, simple, affordable. Nothing to improve.

Coco The Groomer

Literally every option is a mail In option that takes 3-5 days to ship to you and costs 16$ absolutely not worth the price and definitely not what it's advertised as. Don't waste your time

Nicole Kelbick

I used one of the KeyMe Locksmith kiosks recently that was located in a grocery store that I visit regularly. I needed a key made and it was done quickly and efficiently. I have used them in the past and have always been satisfied with the results.

Awful experience, bait and switch. Lots of locksmiths, beware of this one. They refused to provide a quote up front, only said "it starts at $55," which is nowhere close to what I was charged without ever having a chance to ask questions or agree to the cost. When the guy arrived he immediately started working and then he had no idea what to do when the horn started honking without stop after opening the door. Hopefully that doesn't happen to you, because you will be on your own to figure that out while the horn is blaring and he tries to get you to pay the bill you didn't agree to. Charged $190 after no mention of any price difference following the mention of $55.

The process was quick and easy !

Paul Zenk

Was easy but cost has gone up since last time a year ago 1.70 for same key :(

Deborah Funk

The KeyMe worked fine. I used the buy 2 get 1 free deal. At the end of the order, I was given the opportunity to add 1 more key for $2.99 but was charged $7.15. Convenient but pricey.

Nick Cellar

Had to cancel an appointment. Took six phone calls to two different numbers and a $29 dollar fee. So much for "no hidden fees" as advertised on their website. Buyer beware. I'd give 0 stars if possible.

Adam Holmes

Simple, Easy, Fast, store all my keys and can go to any KeyMe Kiosk

Shalonda Gibson

This is my second time using this service and overall I am happy with how the keys turned out and the speed of shipping. My last order I was for 2 copies of the same key, one worked the other did not.

Amy Wolfinger

Good experience, however at face value somewhat overpriced. Decent deal when offered 30% coupon to not walk away.

Paul Hightower

It was a great experience until I tried the key and you have to jiggle the key to unlock my door. could be my fault but 8.99 for a house key seems a little high.
