I called the locksmith after being locked out at a park all night. He came within 20 minutes. Did the service and provided me a spare key for a charge. Great service all around .
My lock broke on an entrance door to my garage out of the blue, and I only had one remote for the main garage door which was in the car in the garage so I desperately needed a locksmith. I called Adi Lock and Key. They answered promptly and dispatched a tech immediately. The tech (Mihail) called me right away and was free so he was at my home in less than 30 minutes. He had all the tools to open the door without any damage to the door or the building thankfully and then he repaired the lock and advised me on which of the many keys I happened to have for it to use going forward. During all of this I noticed they were all cut slightly differently, but had always worked in the past. My only minor complaint was that I was under the impression that the price quoted included everything, but it was only for opening the door. The total ended up being over $500. Had I known the lock repair was an additional $179 on top of the price already quoted, I would have just bought a $30 lock at home depot and replaced it myself, which was what I initially intended to do anyway once I got access again to my car. That being said, as long as this one doesn't break again any time soon, I'm happy to have a working lock, and not have to deal with replacing it myself. In the future, I will be sure to clarify fully what is included in the quoted price and if there are any extra charges, before agreeing to work from any vendors. The tech assured me the lock repair should last as he replaced the broken spring so fingers crossed. Just in case, I also ordered backup remotes for the main garage door so that I can keep one in my home in case there are future problems with the entrance door lock or I accidentally lock the one working entrance door key in the garage. In general, I found the tech and the person who answered the original call very knowledgeable, pleasant and efficient to work with and won't hesitate to use them again or recommend to others.
Called them to fix a car key fob. I asked to meet them at their shop and they were evasive about it and wanted to meet me at my house. I replied that I would rather meet them at their shop and we setup a time to meet. When I got there, it was corporate office space and the receptionist seemed very surprised. I told her I had a meeting and she said they don't have an office but sometimes they reserve meeting rooms. That was weird and even a bit shady but okay. The key technician then didn't show for the meeting so I called and canceled. As best I can tell, they have an address in name only and they're not entirely honest about it. I just don't feel like I could trust these people and I'll use someone else.
2020 Prius. I bought a used, cleared key on eBay for 1/3 the cost of dealership ($90 vs $300). Dealership wanted $180 to program the key.I called ADI, they said they could do it for $120. I scheduled appointment for the next day. DJ came to my house, was early for the appointment, and was done in 5 minutes. Excellent service, fair price; I’m very happy and can highly recommend.
Called around 6 different lock smiths nobody could do it called ADI one time and the guy Gil came out so fast and made me 2 keys highly recommended thank you
