Mr. Boyd came and did a whole house re-key. He has gone totally mobile. The storefront is no longer open to the public. He also no longer does any automotive or motorcycle keys or rekeying. He specializes in commercial and residential locks. Great attentive work, made sure all locks worked smoothly.

I’ll always contact William with Boyd’s for anything related to installing new locks on old doors. William was very timely and professional with his expertise. Every lock for every door had a different key and was additionally frustrating because of ill-fitting lock hardware and mechanisms. It’s the little things because now every door is as smooth to close and lock as it should be, and I can use one key for all. The price was fantastic. Highest recommendation.
Amazing customer service! After being stood up by a different locksmith, I called Boyd's. I wish I had called them first. Upon his answering the phone, I could tell this was first class business. I was greeted warmly and a definite date and time was scheduled, unlike the previous locksmith. Thirty minutes before his scheduled arrival, William called and confirmed the appointment and cheerfully said he would see me then. He arrived promptly and courteously wiped his feet on the mat before coming in the house. Every time he went to his truck and had to come back in, he would knock before entering, even if the door was ajar. He did the job promptly and charged a reasonable fee. In this day and age, it is hard to find this kind of service, someone who is happy to have your business. Mr. Boyd, if you're reading this, I want to say "Thank you" for making this such a pleasant experience.
I called needing three electronic locks installed, and a repair made on a door latch, and despite them being busy, Boyd came out the next day and efficiently completed the entire job. Boyd is an old-school locksmith, and his rates are very competitive. His work is top-notch, and he is a very nice guy to deal with. Please support this local business, because they don’t make them like Boyd anymore. Highly recommended.
