Best Prices and Great Service. Garry (owner) has been in this business for a long time. He knows everything about locks, safes, car locks, key fobs, home locks etc.... His prices are better they fair. He keeps his costs down and passes on the savings to his customers. He is helpful and will tell you how you can save on your lock/key needs even if it costs him some lost revenue. After driving around and calling many places, he is the ONLY locksmith that I found that will cut a transponder car key that you bring to him which resulted in me saving a lot of money. Save your money, bring your car and car key needs to Madden, you won't regret it. Mobile locksmiths charge MUCH more.
Exceptional customer service! I reached out to various places in Vista, San Marcos, and Escondido, but everyone seemed hesitant to duplicate a tubular key. Then I called Madden, and he immediately invited me to stop by, assuring me he would take care of it at a reasonable price. This will definitely be my go-to spot for all my key needs!
I had an excellent experience with Gary at Madden’s Lock and Safe! He repaired my safe quickly and professionally, resolving an issue that I thought would be a major hassle. I also lost the hinge for my special safe, and after searching everywhere with no luck, Gary found it in his parking lot and kindly held onto it for me. Locked the key in the uhaul! Not so fun fact, uhaul wont come help you without $200 fee. Madden was only $85+ credit card fee. Came out fast and got the door open quickly! Keeping his # and hoping i never need it again ?
I needed a mailbox key made. I sent a picture of the key to older man that answered the phone. He said its a chinese key that no one has it. I asked if it can be made custom as long as the teeth match he said yes it can be done. My friend drove 40 minutes and the man said he cant do it. This person does not give correct information. If it can't be done just say No.
