The owner came and helped me get in. Thank you google maps. He asked for cash. I asked fora receipt. He has been avoiding me. I wantto change my review. As of this point would not recommend.
I will give negative if I can. I didn't write reviews to business very often, but I will say this is the worst customer service I have ever had. He came and replace my customer's mailbox, the door was open after the mailman flip the panel. We asked the man to come back and fix it , after his coming , the second day , the door still open . Until the mailman knocked the door and told the owner , the lock hook was installed with an opposite direction. We would like him to come back again, he replied with yelling and stated he has 25 years business and he didn't know what was going on, and he never call back or show up . He told me to stop calling him because he was so busy. We just wanna know when he could come. We finally work with a young man , just change the direction of the hook, you installed wrong. It was so easy. He as a locksmith , with 25 years experience , know nothing about it . Even though you don't know , you should care people , with customer come back for your business. But I didn't get anything here. Very sad experience!
Came in to get a spare key made for my car. They guy spent about an hour trying to get various different machines to work with my car. Some had no battery and some couldn't connect for some reason. He said my cars computer was at fault. I was told to come back in a few hours once his machine was done charging so he could try again. I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and come back. Still it did not work. He charged me $20 for the key he cut which won't even unlock the door to my car let alone start it. Waste of my money and time.A few weeks later I went to Reed Brothers Locksmith. They said the key I had cut would not work so they cut me a new one and programed it in just a few minutes. Only $90, same price Chida wanted. I recommend going to reed brothers instead, much more professional and quality service.
I spoke to them over the phone that I was going to be there to get a replacement key fob programmed for my vehicle (2012 Hyundai Sonata). I reach 30 minutes later and the shop is closed! Waited ~20 minutes for the guy to return from lunch. When he got back, he tried connecting his tablet device to my car for almost 20 more minutes but was unable retrieve the key code. He tried it on his own car (Mazda) and it didn't work either. He told me it would be $90 extra to get the key code from the dealer, else I could retrieve the key code from the dealer myself. He assured me that the dealer would give it to me for free, so I went to the dealer. The dealer tells me that they offered no such service and I had to get the key programmed from them instead. I call the guy back and they blame the dealer for wasting my time. I asked them about their tablet device not working and then they confess after all this that their SW is not up to date (which is why their device didn't work in the first place) and that its too expensive. In all, wasted ~3 hours for nothing.I go to a different locksmith and they tell me that my car key programmability is locked due to an unauthorized device attempting to connect to it! Luckily they were able to do it successfully without having to pay extra.TL; DR; beware, they don't actually seem to be authorized for car remote key programming!
There's maybe nothing as frustrating as locking your keys in your car. Which makes it doubly important that you get your car open quickly and safely. I called Chida and they were out to my house in a matter of 15 minutes and Joe got my car open in another 5. And he was super friendly about it! Would highly recommend this place for any kind of locksmith services you need. I know I'll have their number saved on my phone if (heaven forbid) there's a next time.
