I got two keys made and only one worked. I paid extra for the more “precise” cuts but it wasn’t worth it. They both looked wonky looking and barely matched, I got one refunded because it didn’t turn.
This place is a ripoff! Avoid at all costs. He wanted to charge me $100 to $300 to duplicate a Toyota camry key. He must think there are a pot of stupid people out there.
Insert a key, choose your options, pay, and get a copied key. It was quite simple and only took a few minutes. I'm all about no hassles when it comes to services, and Key.Me delivered on that!Note: The edges of the copied key may come out looking a bit rough at first, but inserting the key in the lock a few times will smooth out the edges very quickly.
Potential customers beware, please STAY AWAY from this company.KeyMe's technician arrived to my home at around 7pm as mentioned over the phone but failed to communicate that they charged an additional HIDDEN TRANSPORTATION FEE of $29 (with or without any actual key replacement or fixture). This hidden fee was DEMANDED to me by the technician in-person after:1) failing to replace my key fob at the original negotiating price over the phone2) TRIPLED the fixture cost that was NOT negotiated with me upon examining the situation. This is very bad business practices at the standard level.I have contacted their customer service line demanding a refund for their $29 hidden "transportation fee" but they've since failed to respond back with my payment. If I were you, I would settle with another locksmith elsewhere. I definitely will avoid KeyMe at all cost for their unprofessional, greedy and scammy practices.
DON’T CALL THIS COMPANY FOR SERVICE!!!!!!A guy came and trying to charge $240 after he unlocked one simplest door lock when they told you $70 minimum fee on the phone. I have experienced with other locksmith services so I know the price isn’t right…, they won’t provide their identification or even a name card. No any information on invoice. After we both agreed to drop down the price to $150, then he add another $30 and change me $180 total. All the fee and stuff was made of. Disgusting. And I now saw some similar reviews on google too. They will use like a AI generated reply to pretend they are sorry to hear that and said we can send these complaints to their robot email and never respond ??????????
