Bill and his crew helped us custom make a bent and broken key from an 1985 Volvo, extremely fair price whereas any other locksmith would have overcharged and taken advantage of our business. Thes folks where fast, precise, and professional!!Thank you folks at Davis Lock & Safe Inc??
I can't say thank you enough! Thank you to everyone, especially to Connor.Everyone is having a bad day when they go to a locksmith with an emergency.I came in, in full tears after breaking my car key. And they were ready to help, even though they were about 20 min from closing. And with a great price. Thank you to everyone!
I needed 2 copies made of a sentry safe key. Simple. First try the wrong blanks were used. The handle and size looked perfect but the actual blank grooves were different. Kinda easy to miss, so no big deal, I went back and let them know. I contemplated taking the safe with me but the thing is so damn heavy. Anyway, when I returned I mentioned it but they didn't ask for me to bring the safe back, so figured I was fine.2nd set of keys, head shape is different, no big deal there. I should have looked at the blade closer before I left... it had the same shape as the original, but was bigger! See the pics for yourself, so they picked the wrong blanks twice.I'm not going back. Leaving this review as a warning... CHECK YOUR COPIES before you walk out.EDIT: You can get sentry replacements on Amazon pre-cut for your safe (using key code on barrel). $7/key
Called to have the door opened on a Ram 1500 after I locked myself out with the truck running. The guy marred the finish on the inside of the door and the cab by using a tool that was too big. Finally, when I questioned if he had something thinner he noticed the door lock and had it open in two minutes with a piece of plastic. I thought calling the “experts” was the thing to do. One star because they were prompt.
I brought in the front door lock - in pieces - that our house painter had disassembled, asking 1) how to reassemble it, 2) can it be cleaned, and 3) can it be replaced. The locksmith gave excellent answers to each question, giving me clear instructions, and lubricated the lock (which is all it needed) for free. I've trusted Davis Lock & Safe for decades, and have always been delighted with the results.
