Kiosk at WinCo is BAD. Ordered 3 keys, only 1 was good. (The kiosk didn’t dispense the 3rd key, and 1 of the 2 keys I got was useless as it was only halfway cut). Requested refund.
This is the second car key I've gotten from this company, and I am ?? satisfied. You will be amazed to get your new key and notice it looks a lot different than your existing key, but it still works. I like my new keys so much better that I use my og keys as the back-up and the new one for everyday use. Feels great to have a spare set because I have old cars and they always get locked inside. I did not copy a key that had a chip in it, just ignition keys.
Having a place to make a key leaving a store can be convenient. I really wasn’t expecting to pay $8.99 for a simple gold house key copy when I should have gone to Fred Meyer or ACE hardware for more choices and a cheaper price. It’s also sad to see any custom key you want to make at that machine adds about $5 more in price, and you’d have to wait almost a week for it to ship to you which I feel like defeats the purpose of getting a key copy made since you want it right there and then. Lesson learned.
First time user and will be sure to return. I had a round fob scanned and a white plastic key shaped fob spit out of the kiosk. I was a bit skeptical until I tried it and to my surprise it works perfectly! I like the key better than the original round fob. I’ll be back!
