Reviews show a mix of experiences: several customers report successful duplicates and fast customer service fixes when a copy didn’t work. Others mention keys that didn’t turn and frustration about pricing clarity over the phone. Positive notes include convenience and timely fulfillment, while occasional issues involve key fit and communication about costs.
Javier was awesome was had a old troublesome lock and he fixed up all our keys to work via trial and error . No fuss
I thought I'd give it a second try, but same issue key not turning.
There was a problem with the key I had made, but the customer service resolved it in thirty seconds.
Called looking to make a copy of a key. I asked how much the person over the phone didn’t say. They said what’s the address. I responded what’s the price to make a copy. They responded I need to see the area to give you a price. Makes it seem like depending on where I live is the price they’ll charge. It should be a set price for a copy plus a service fee.
The keys we got made come in a pretty timely manner considering we ordered them the week of Christmas. They are comparable to what you could get made at any hardware type store. I didn't do a price comparison but I would imagine that it's roughly about the same. Also one thing to note is that the kiosks offer 50% off when you're ordering a larger number and have them shipped to you rather than waiting at the kiosk for each key to be made. all 10 keys work perfectly! Oh and I can compare this to another brand of quick service key copies I've used before...KeyMe's instructions to push and hold the key in place while it got the image is what ensured that these worked. When I tried the other brand it didn't tell you to do that and none of those keys ended up working.I would definitely recommend KeyMe and will likely be using this again when we need more keys made for our office.
