Friendliness, one star. However, the 2 keys I reluctantly had them make, work just fine. I try to support local business whenever possible, but this one dropped off the future list. Unfortunate.

I have been a loyal customer of this business for over 15 years. During that time, I’ve appreciated their services, but I’ve also noticed that the atmosphere when entering the store is often less than welcoming. I always make an effort to smile, never haggle over prices, avoid unnecessary questions, and thank them for their help, yet the friendliness is rarely reciprocated.

A recent situation highlighted this issue. While driving by, I saw a staff member outside and asked if they were open because I needed help with a key they had made that wasn’t working. The response I received was, “I’m walking,” which came across as dismissive. I understand that everyone has tough days, but as a business owner myself, I know that customers are the lifeblood of success.

This is a business I’ve supported for many years, and I truly hope they can work on providing a more welcoming and positive customer experience. A simple smile or polite response goes a long way in keeping loyal customers coming back.
