A1 charged me just $20 and insisted that I try it to make sure it worked before she'd take my money. I could have driven away! Of course it worked! She's the best! Fast, friendly, accurate service. Always get our keys made here.

I took the lock to A-1 and they were skilled enough, determined enough, and kind enough to make a key from a blank to operate the lock. This kind of skill is so rare today. This kind of customer service is also so rare today. So happy I went to A-1 and they solved my problem for me! ??

Rekeyed Schlage deadbolt lockset that I had lost the key for, while I waited... then looked up the service manual to help me program it and figure out I had reassembled it incorrectly. In-shop work only, but that means they're not gone on service calls when you stop by during store hours, too. (2021)
