Reviews
What customers say
Customers praise professional, smooth and efficient work. One customer said Robert arrived as expected to replace a broken Emtek keyless lock, explained its care and recommended changing the batteries every six months. One customer warned about the cost of a car-door lockout; another said a replaced door lock failed within two months and that the technician said another service-call and labor charge would apply despite the invoice's stated 90-day parts-and-labor warranty.

Charged 350 for a locked car door. I hope i can save you the money before you call. This is also not the amount i got charged by other companies. Rip off completely, My mistake for calling, never again.

Really high quality work from start to finish. You can tell they care about doing things the right way, not rushing or cutting corners. Everything was done clean, solid, and professionally, and the result feels top-notch. Definitely a company that takes pride in their work. Highly recommend.

Super smooth experience. They came fast, knew exactly what they were doing, and got the job done without any hassle. Everything works perfectly now and the price was fair. Definitely recommend if you need a locksmith you can trust

I have used Alpha Lock several times over the years (door lock installations & door alignment adjustments), and they have become my go-to locksmiths in Hoboken. Today, Robert changed out a broken Emtek keyless door lock - he arrived when he said he would, and was efficient (in & out in 20 minutes). He also explained the long-term care, and reminded me to change out the batteries every six months. Overall, would highly recommend.

This company does not stand behind its work or honor its stated warranty. We had our door lock replaced and it broke after less than two months of use. I contacted customer service to come out and repair it. It took two days for a technician to call me back. When he did he told me I would be charged again for the service call and labor. I reminded him the invoice/receipt stated there is a 90 day warranty on parts and labor. He told me there was nothing he could do. I plan to file a formal complaint and see if I can get a refund through my bank. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and chose another company.
