at first went to Home Depot for a key repair and it was 599 for the basic key. I bought four and then went to Walmart and had a machine that I used. It was cheaper and I could do it myself. You make two keys get one free.

So, this was my first time using this “DIY” key maker. Had difficulty getting the key into the slot, should have explained that you have to really force it in. After the key was cut, I removed it but was left unsure if it had finished. Then I was offered 3 cut keys for the price of 1, along with multiple offers. Then it started making noises again and I was afraid it was trying to cut a key that I had already removed. I was relieved when it was finally completed and I did it correctly!! It will be MUCH easier if and when I use it a second time because I will know what to expect. Felt the instructions could have been more instructional! Ultimately, pleased that the key cut and it works perfectly!
