Reviews frequently mention fast turnaround, clear explanations, and friendly service at the shop. Many customers note accurate key cutting and effective lock or cylinder repairs that saved money versus dealership or full replacement options. Punctuality and straightforward pricing are also recurring themes. Several long-time customers say they return for consistent workmanship.

I was very nervous about getting my locked safe open as there was cash inside, but the person told me they are “bonded” which I did not know what it mean, but I felt from his voice he was trustworthy. I went to drop off my safe and he said he would give it a try and within 5 minutes, he opened it and said “don’t worry about it”. I insisted on paying and he said I could just come back when I needed a key cut. I appreciated the fast and reliable service. I would highly recommend their services.

Keyhole Locksmith in Langley is one of those businesses you’re genuinely grateful to find when you need help fast. Their service is quick, professional, and incredibly reliable. From the moment you call, they’re calm, friendly, and clear about what to expect — which is a huge stress-reliever when you’re dealing with anything lock-related.

The technician who helped me was punctual, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced. They walked me through what needed to be done, explained the options, and didn’t try to upsell anything unnecessary. You can tell they take pride in doing honest work, and that’s rare these days. The job was done efficiently, the price was fair, and everything felt secure afterward.

What stood out most was their professionalism and attention to detail. Whether it's rekeying, fixing a jammed lock, or getting you back inside after being locked out, they handle it with a level of care that makes you feel confident and taken care of.

If you're in Langley and need a locksmith you can trust not just someone quick, but someone who actually knows what they’re doing, Keyhole Locksmith is the one to call. Highly recommended.

I’ve been going to Keyhole since the early 2000s when they were at their old location next door. I’ve never needed anything large, but I have always been very satisfied with the service and quality of work and continue to go to them for anything I need. I don’t live in Langley anymore, but recently made the trek because I had a key for a 1992 Ford that was extremely worn out - worn to the point of requiring at bare minimum someone to take an educated guess at what the key was supposed to look like. The local dealerships were no longer able to assist with helping me get a replacement from the VIN. They don’t have key blanks, and they don’t have records of key codes beyond 10 years (not sure why, but I digress). Keyhole was able to take my worn out key, reference the Ford codes (which they have!) and cut me a brand new key as well as give me my key code for any future reference. I’m confident that to Keyhole this act was a very small thing and just another day, barely affecting their business numbers, but please know that to people like me that small act of being able to get a new key when no one else could help is greatly appreciated, and is why I continue to use Keyhole. Thank you!

The reviews seemed too good to be true, but they weren’t! Great fast, efficient, and quality service. I got 12 keys cut the minute I walked in, completed in under 10 minutes! Doesn’t get any better ????

I've saved a lot of money on car repair by coming here for car key problems instead of going to the dealership. E.g. Hyundai wanted over $400 to fix my car because the key wouldn't turn in the ignition. So I learned how to take the lock cylinder out, brought it to Keyhole, and they were able to just clean it out, replace some springs & pins, and it all works fine again after reinstalling. So I paid about $60 instead of $400.

Frequently Asked Questions

Many car keys and lock cylinders can be serviced or duplicated, depending on the vehicle and key type. Availability varies for transponder or specialty keys, so it’s best to call with your make, model, and year. The shop can often advise whether repair, rekey, or replacement is the most cost-effective option. If needed, they can discuss on-site versus in-shop service.

Yes, rekeying is a common service that changes which keys operate your existing locks. It’s often faster and more economical than replacing hardware. The locksmith can also set up keyed-alike systems so one key works for multiple doors. Master keying for small offices or suites may be available.

Bring the working key you’d like copied, and any information about the lock or vehicle if it’s a specialty key. For worn keys, the locksmith may recommend decoding or repairing the cylinder for a better result. Turnaround is typically quick for standard keys. Pricing is provided before cutting.

Yes, common residential and light commercial hardware can be supplied and installed. The team can suggest hardware that fits your existing doors and budget. They’ll review finish options and security features before proceeding. Installation details and timing are discussed in advance.

Basic safe and lockbox openings may be possible depending on the model and condition. Results can vary, and identification or proof of ownership may be required. The locksmith will explain risks, potential damage, and estimated costs before attempting an opening. Calling ahead with make and model helps determine feasibility.
