Customer feedback is mixed. Positive notes mention quick arrival, clear appointment confirmations, and technicians who explain repairs. Critical reviews cite price discrepancies between phone quotes and final invoices, along with concerns about communication. Several comments highlight fast completion for simple lockouts alongside frustration about unexpected charges.
Was told 19.95 service fee and re-keys start at $18, which I was fine with. The tech shows up asks for the keys to the doors and proceeds the change out on 5 doors. Aprox 45 minutes later he hands us a bill for $775. Says that our push doors are $95 ea which we only had 2 of. 2 others were standard type dead bolts and one was a simple push lock. He had priced ea of them at $95. Never once did he mention there would be an additional charge. If he would have mentioned the incredible difference between what were told the "starting" price and the actual I would have sent him packing before he got the keys. Pretty sure they are trained this way. Do the job first and then the customer will have to pay. His dispatcher did discount the job $150 after I complained, but that is still $125 a door. Beware and look elsewhere!
Started out with an online chat, got a quote and made an appointment that was convenient for me. Follow up was excellent. I received an appointment confirmation text right away. Also a reminder text the day of the appointment and when the technician was on the way. I thought the cost was reasonable for a house call. I Recommend Lawrenceville Locksmith & Security, LLC
Great job! They had someone out there within an 1/2 hour and fixed my lock issues. - Repaired our front door lock/handle. The cost was very reasonable, and the workmanship is excellent. The service technician was very friendly, knowledgeable, and a very professional attitude. He explained why locks didn’t work, and why it was falling apart. Also, Before he left he made sure that the locks are working well. It would be my pleasure to recommend this company to anyone I know
AWFUL. Awful awful awful. If I could rate this business with a 0 I would. They lied about the price over the phone. They told me 60 dollars and depending on how long the service took it would go up from there. The tech arrived and it took him less than 5 minutes to unlock my car and I’m being charged 150 dollars. Not to mention their staff is very rude and inattentive.
This service was terrible since the first phone call when I had TO ASK for a quote, then call them back after 25 min of waiting for the locksmith to call me to ask for my exact address. I called the original woman I talked to to confirm the price & make sure he was still coming since he had not yet called like she said he would. She confirmed the price with me & said he would called me back. He called me back 5min after talking to her then arrived 12min after the phone call. While he was unlocking the car through the upper right corner through the driver door, he was pricing me much higher than what I was told on the phone. I told him the price given & twice confirmed with me, so he told me to call them back. After calling for the third time & trying to explain, that same woman was talking over me & denying she ever confirmed or gave me a set price at all. My husband was there & didn’t want to wait any longer for another locksmith since we both have to work at 5am tomorrow, so he paid the high price the locksmith was asking for. After all was said & done, I drove off only to realize wind & rain getting inside my car as I drove through the upper right corner of my driver door! Never using this service nor would I recommend it to anyone ever???
