I used ADC for many years. Sean and his partner were great. I love supporting small, quirky, independent shops. That all changed last visit. The dude there was incredibly aggressive and rude without reason.
Worst service ever! After waiting 15 minutes for dude to return from break, he never acknowledged me and spent another 10 minutes on phone.Unbelievably rude. I left and went to Ace hardware where I received excellent service
Tom returned to the shop and reopened on a Friday afternoon because the location downtown didn’t have the “dated” blank that I needed. I was leaving town and really needed those copies . Thank you Tom for customer service beyond what anyone should expect.
I called multiple locksmiths because I lost a key. None of them had an actual shop and they quoted me a price of 250- 275 dollars for a key. When I called ACD they asked if I could bring in the lock which I did. They made me a key for that lock for 8 dollars. I asked how much for another key and it was 8 dollars. The initial key took them 10 minutes to find a blank, look up serial numbers and do some research on the computer. They apparently did that for free where other locksmiths charged between 250-300 for that service.I left a 10 dollar tip. It was the first time I’ve tipped at a retail business and I’m 50 years old. Excellent quality at more than a fair price. ACD lock and key is in a league of its own!
Went to ADC hoping to find a small piece of hardware to fix an older Schlage Passage Doorknob. ADC has a large inventory of parts for older doorknob sets and I was able to get the small piece to fix my door latch, and I saved alot of money!! I am so happy to have a shop like ADC that keeps parts for hardware that is no longer available! The service and the shop are great for whatever Lock & Key needs you have!
