Had them install a programmable lock on a multi-unit building. They were great to deal with and the installer made sure I knew how to program the lock going forward. 11 months later the lock started malfunctioning. One of the technicians spent so much time working with me on this. He even gave me his personal number to text updates on whether or not the lock had been fixed. Capital worked with me to get a replacement from the lock company at no cost. I was charged a fraction of the labor time they spent with me. Thoughout this multi-day process, the locksmith I worked with (William) was engaged, professional, and truly cared to get the job done right. Highly recommend them.
I work for a company that owns a lot of buildings which locks need replacing or lock worked on I have been going to Capitol locks not by choice as I would not recommend this place to anyone ...over the years I have had to return many times to there store to get it fixed right so it works like it supposed to. the last time I was there I had a entry door lock that issues which I had to go back 3 times to get it fixed right..as they were taking parts from a old lock and trying to make it work in a new lock it was causing issues for tenants . one worker Rick was very rude.. unprofessional . and was either not very smart or was just telling me a lie . he thought he was so knowledgeable and that I didn't have a clue as he was the expert.so he did a new door lock .only to realize that rick put the lock together upside down. and had to return the next day . they refuse to do bussiness with me any more as they dont want me to keep comming back to get it fixed the way it supposed to be done . PLEASE GO TO ANOTHER KEY SHOP. why pay so much for something that doesn't work like it should .they have bad reviews on other sites also . they dont care about the customers at this place at all.
We had just moved into our new apartment and the keys we were given would not engage the lock. Our property helped us contact Capital Lock and they were at our apartment in less than an hour! We had left to go to the store and Kevin beat us back to the apartment. We apologized for making him wait and he was very kind and told us it was no problem. He was very patient. I needed help programming a Schlage door lock. I tried multiple times on my own and failed. I called to have them come out, however Haley decided to see if she could walk me through it step by step on the phone. It worked. So grateful. They didn’t charge me a thing. Good service like this is so hard to find these days. Would highly recommend their services!
