GI Locksmith did an awesome job for me at two different properties. My house in East Memphis has older wood doors with those tricky mortise locks. He changed them from the old Sargent keyway to Kwikset, and rekeyed my security doors so now all 4 doors work on just one key! That includes the front storm door and the wrought iron door, which is so convenient. I also had two security iron gates over the windows that I lost the keys to, and he safely cut those locks off for me too.Since he did such great work, I had him go over to my other house in Cordova. He rekeyed 5 Schlage locks there and installed a new lever handle on the door. It is really hard to find a locksmith who knows how to deal with both old historic locks and heavy security doors without messing them up. Fair price and great work. I attached some pictures of the hardware at both houses!

We have used GI Locksmith for several things- from mailbox rekeyed to whole house re key and now to front door misalignment. The cold temps made our 120yo front door misalign with the strike plate, and not be able to lock. They got it fixed in about 30 minutes. The door knob to the lock on my door was broken when I purchased my house. I Googled repair broken lock or something like that and GI Locksmith was the first thing that popped up. I had a feeling that they were the ones to go with. They came came literally a few hours after I called. They came, did some measurements and left a little while later. He called back with the parts and fixed my lock!! When I say he was amazing!!! I am so happy!!They are the best Locksmith in memphis and serviced our doors here. They are antique locks that are also considered architectural locks. They made skeleton keys to my bed room door as the picture shows. My front door was missing the thumb turn piece and they found one and installed it for us on our old locks. Thank you for also rekeying our storm doors as well. They do rekeying services for homes. Definitely will keep their number.
