Avoid using metro locking key. I dropped my steering column off on a Wednesday. They told me it would be done the next day. I called in the next day because I didn't get a phone call. So I called around 4 PM to check on my steering column. They told me they had a order keys. Great call the next day. Keys came in. They said they were working on it on the bench. Said they would call me at the end of the day. This is now Friday from Wednesday. They're not open on the weekends. So how are they working on my item over the weekend? If they're not even open, I needed this done before Friday he knew this, he refused to call me to give me updates on what's going on. I have to call him bug him. Ask him what's going on with my steering column and he told me. Oh, the tech is on the road right now. Oh, we don't have the right parts. Oh, we don't have the right parts. We don't have the right keys. Oh? It's old and hard to work on it. Just sounds like a bunch of excuses to me. I don't understand how they're staying in business by dragging people the way they are.But I have been completely dragged for less than a week.But I feel like i'm not gonna get my steering column until the middle of next week

Kept my key lock cylinder for three weeks, changing story each time I called to inquire about it. After two weeks dude says parts had to be ordered, then I get there after another week and they say they couldn't even open lock cylinder but had the parts. Waisted THREE WEEKS of my time claiming they was waiting for parts when they couldn't even open and access the internals of the lock cylinder. And to your response, it wasn't a "generic component", it was an original GM part that I bought. You AND your technician didn't know how to even open the cylinder, to even attempt to fix it, but yet ordered parts to fix it. My problem isn't that you couldn't fix it, but gave me the run around for 3 weeks just to tell me you couldn't fix it. You should've been able to know if you was capable to open the cylinder FIRST, before ordering any parts and knowing if you could even do the repair!
