How convenient to be able to duplicate keys at your grocery store. We made three copies, and for some reason one of them did not work. This company’s customer service is so terrific, and we were issued a refund right away. The customer service representative was friendly, kind, professional, and very helpful.
I mean, they came through in a pinch during the July 4th holiday, but $537 for under five minutes worth of work and a resulting broken lock felt like robbery. It would have helped to have had the pricing up front, but I suspect they do that so that they can continue to charge so much. If you can shop around for something more reasonable (like I should have) then do that instead.
Too expense I will go to Home Depot next time (their specialty print keys are way cheaper by 2/3's the price). But it is fast if you are grocery shopping. Still waiting on one key that is being shipped to my address.
Using the KeyMe kiosk was easy and simple, and being able to go to the KeyMe kiosk at my local safeway was signigicantly easier than going to my favorite hardware store as I have done in the past for key duplication.The KeyMe kiosk created a usable copy of my key in just a few minutes (My only thought as to how the experience could have been improved is for the display on the kiosk to update the progress of the duplication process a bit more frequently than it did).
