Shout out to Brandon Molander who was extremely helpful and helped me get keys cut for a locking cabinet in our store. He cut me a sample to make sure it worked first and then gave me excellent service when I went back to get more keys cut. I always get excellent advice and service from Red Deer Lock & Safe and would highly recommend them.

Very disappointing experience at Red Deer Lock & Key. I called ahead to ask about getting my car key rekeyed and was told it would cost $30. When I arrived, the price suddenly changed to $40–$45. When I questioned it, I was told it would require “a bit more work” and take about an hour which was never mentioned on the phone. I was already running late for work, so I said I would come back later. When I returned, the price had increased again to $60–$80. At that point, I decided to forget it and take my business to the dealer instead. Pricing should be transparent and consistent. It’s frustrating to be quoted one amount over the phone and then have it keep increasing in person. I can’t recommend this place based on my experience.

Excellent service! I was greeted right away, only waited about 5 minutes for the gentleman to come out and re-key my 1979 tent trailer. It only took him 10 minutes or so. He was very kind and helpful. Have me a few tips to keep the lock clean and it was half the price I was expecting! Would definitely recommend!
