I had a lock on a uhaul truck and it malfunctioned. I called and a real person who worked there gave me quick options as my movers were standing around waiting. I chose to take the quick drive, a worker came out and used a pick to check the pins in the lock. He worked his magic and within 3 minutes the key worked and I was on my way. They actually didn't charge me but if they did it was like 30 to 40 I think. I tipped the worker $20 as he saved my move. These guys are friendly, give realistic options and know what they are doing. Highly highly recommend!
We were in Reno on vacation and needed a key for a mobility scooter. They were able to accommodate us in a very professional manner and at a very reasonable price.
I have always regarded Andy's Lock and Key as a reputable establishment. However, during my recent visit to the Sparks location, I inquired with an employee named 'Wyit' about a universal file cabinet key. After expressing his frustration about searching for it in the wall, he informed me that no pre-cut keys were available. When I asked about alternative solutions, he was dismissive and unhelpful, which I found to be unprofessional and discourteous."
