Luis, the owner was terrific. I went to him to replace two worn out key fobs. He suggested replacing them with after market fobs. He programmed and cut the new fobs and they work great and look like OEM’s…probably saving me more 50% of what a dealer would’ve charged . I highly recommend Automotive Key.
My key fob for my van started malfunctioning. I have seen this business for Years after we moved here. I just stopped in to get two new key fobs. I was in and out in under 15 minutes. The gentleman that assisted me was polite and clearly knew what he was doing. Great service! We will be back if we need help for our other vehicle and I will tell everyone about their business.
We lost our only alarm key for our Toyota so we called our local Toyota dealership only to have them charge us over $700 for 1 key and programming for that new key. We called our local mechanic, PACC Auto and they referred us to Automotive Keys. Miguel Automotive Key was MORE than positive that he could reprogram and get us 2 new alarm keys for LESS than Half the price of the dealership...and he is MOBILE!! Miguel was SO friendly and had great communication. He arrived early and was able to complete the service in a timely manner. We can't recommend Automotive Key highly enough and will use their services and recommend to all our friends and neighbors!!!
Friendly and helpful people. I would go back again when needed. Just one word of advice, don't trust the key codes you get from the dealership to always work if you have lost your emergency key. Make sure you can compare the pattern that is indicated to the original key prior to getting it cut. If you don't have an original key to compare with then you could end up with a key that doesn't work and you are forced to use the dealership and their high costs.
Had an issue with my Mini key fob while traveling. Called Automotive Key on the road and was greeted with a kind person that assured me he would handle it although being close to closing time. I highly recommend this locksmith as they have years of experience and a huge array of automotive keys that most places don’t carry.
