Not legit. The location is an apartment. My son lost his car key fob.Cost to replace was 600. Sure Lock says they ordered Wednesday key would be there Friday. I asked for tracking/ordering # they refused to give either. Then on Friday they said it wasn't coming til next Wednesday, so 7 days now. Still refusing to give order/tracking. So I canceled service and went to BMW. They never returned my 200 and continue to harass me. Also was booked for my 1st payment on the remaining 400. For what I received no product or service
I wish I could give zero stars, first and last encounter with this company, I wish I never dialed the number. I called for a key for my Wrangler, was told it’s a special order key $100 deposit down refundable. Fine I paid it. I don’t care. I wanted my new key. Schedule an appointment for the next day, was told somebody absolutely has to be on site per policy. Fine I left work, met them at the house. Driver was 45 minutes late from appointment, so basically I left work early for almost no reason. The appointment was for 430, was expected to take 20 to 30 minutes. I also had a 6:30 PM appointment, so the timing would’ve been perfect if Driver was on time. At 6:35 PM now late for my appointment, I was informed that not only did the new key not work, but they deleted my old key so now I cannot start my jeep at all or even turn it on to raise the windows. This jeep normally sits in the garage protected from the elements, so now it’s stuck in the driveway with the windows down, unable to move. When I called to find out what the problem was, I was told they will order another key, I said OK fine but do I have to be there. I was told yes I do. so now, not only can I not move my Jeep and it’s been sitting in the driveway, I have to leave work early again. I am told this is policy and they will make no exception, even though their tech already verified my ownership, met me in person, and my license matches the address where the vehicle is at. when I called for an update, I was then told later that the key will be another four days. Of course, it is supposed to rain for the next three days. And there is my beloved garage queen Jeep in the driveway with the windows down. I called again and said just give me my $100 back. I need to call somebody else, was told the $100 is nonrefundable. So not only is this company completely unorganized and incompetent, they don’t stand by themselves and realize they made an error and own up to it and at the very least give me my deposit back. Avoid this company, there are plenty of mobile locksmiths out there. Do not let them take your money, then force you to do business with them when they can’t get their stuff right. I’m very lucky I’m at home, this would be awful if I was stuck on the side of the road somewhere and they still couldn’t get their act together. Call literally anybody else.
I needed a key fob programmed to open/unlock my new car.Joseph was very helpful and gave me a quote over the phone.He was very timely and completed the job in 15 minutes.I am very happy with the service.Will call them if I need anything else!!!
Worse company ever. I used Sure lock & key 6 months ago to unlock my house door. First they won't give you a quote over the phone, they said we have to come see the lock. I agreed to the price the guy said, thinking he was going to pick the lock and I would be in. The guy just started using a crow bar and hammer to my door. I said please don't damage my lock or frame. He broke both my lock and door frame. I called the company, they said they will look into the situation this was 6 months ago. No phone call, no email from them. Terrible customer service.
They came out to Pick my front door lock and instead Drilled it and broke my lock completely.I have called 4 times with no help. customer service is Horrible.I supposedly spike to a manager today.And she said there was nothing that they could do even though they completely broke my lock after only being here around five minutes! I was told by another locksmith that the lock should have easily been picked without breaking anything. The technician would not take a debit card...so we had to pay cash with is very suspicious!! And there was NO receipt provided. So $150 later, I have a broken lock and broken handles...and the company won't do a thing to help me!! I also talked to someone at the company last week and he assured me that someone would repair it and if they couldn't, then they would refund me. NOPE!!! They lied about that too...very disappointing "service"
